Hanjin returned to Singapore on 26 & 27 September 2009 to perform at the Grand Prix Singapore, on the same line-up as Chaka Khan, Travis,Backstreet Boys, Youssou N'Dour and Mavis Staples.Born and educated in Singapore, Hong Kong-based Hanjin debuted as a songwriter on Canto-pop singer Jacky Cheung's No Regrets album in 1998, and has since composed more than 400 songs. He is especiallypopular for creating edgy songs and developing album concepts for Chinese records in the South East Asia and China markets. In 2007, he produced a song for international sensation Christina Aguilera and Korean pop idol, Rain, for a Pepsi campaign.
